Upgrading Intelli-Site (or Intelli-Track) is a simple process.

1. Backup the current Intelli-Site Project and data.
2. Download the latest version of the software See What is the latest version of Intelli-Site and where do I get it?

1. Disconnect all Intelli-Site Workstations from the Intelli-Site Server.
2. Shutdown the Intelli-Site Server software and the Driver Service software.
3. Using the installer downloaded above, upgrade the Intelli-Site software.
4. Restart the Intelli-Site Server and Driver Service.
5. Upgrade any remote Intelli-Site Workstations and any remote Driver Services similarly.

The Intelli-Site system is now upgraded and fully functional.

• If it is a redundant Intelli-Site system the steps are different so as to minimize the amount of time the Server is down during the upgrade.

1. Disconnect the slave Intelli-Site Server computer from the network.
2. Shutdown the slave Intelli-Site Server software and the Intelli-Site Driver Service if present.
3. Using the installer downloaded above, upgrade the Intelli-Site software.
4. Ensure all clients are shut down and disconnected for the master Intelli-Site Server.
5. Shutdown the master Intelli-Site Server software and Driver Service if present. 
6. Reconnect the secondary or slave computer to the network and start the Intelli-Site Server.  When this Server discovers the previous master Server is absent, it will take over operations and become the new master Server.
7. Upgrade the remote Intelli-Site Workstations and any remote Driver Services similarly.
8. Upgrade the master Intelli-Site Server software by running the Intelli-Site installer.
9. Start the Intelli-Site Server software. This Server will become the slave Server since the other Server is the current master.

The redundant Intelli-Site system is now upgraded and fully functional.
